oh, chicken.
but okay, a shade of blue it shall be, from my stash (like the gloves above?). and i shall want considerably more than a couple of martinis. can you confirm that your IPOD is indeed the size that is mentioned in the pattern I linked above? am making no promises about when it shall be cozy-ed, because there’s also that paper on 1857 to write, but let’s see. (i cannot believe this conversation is being had, but for martinis and knitting fame)

Sepoy, do some surfing of knitting blogs and come up with some preferences, most importantly of colour. And also look at your bank balance. Rest I will take care of.

Spud,I have a Brooks Farm lace stole I made last year that is very warm but also very fuzzy. I bought the yarn when we went together to the Wool Fair, remember? I think it just needs to be reblocked all the time, which is a pain. But it is beautiful…

I like the Brooks Farm stuff a lot. Although it does shed more than would be ideal. I suppose that’s just the way mohair goes, though.

Although I swear I read somewhere that if you put a mohair… whatever… in the freezer for a while before wearing it, it won’t shed.

I haven’t tried this, due to the fact that it’s already frickin’ cold a lot, and thus putting on a freezing sweater sounds deeply unpleasant.
