What a nice idea to use rangoli patterns for knitting! Maybe the same thing can be applied to crochet (tapestry or tunisian, neither of which I’ve mastered yet).

hi Joanna, thanks for the comment: what Bollywood productions have you seen? I had no idea you could even find them in Poland! I used to see a lot more when I was in college and am a filmsong junkie. this one was an arthouse, dark, brooding film, totally unlike commercial bollywood.

I really love Indian movies (although they are not very popular here in Poland and my friends look at me with amazement when I get excited with Bollywood productions…^^). I don’t now the one you write about, must find it definitely!
Your rangoli pattern looks interesting, I wish I knew how to knit complicated cables one day. Good job!
