Glad you found a pattern that you're more comfortable with. No sense in making knitting painful/frustrating when it doesn't have to be, right?

I love Bonne Marie's patterns, great fit, minimal seaming and nifty tips on ravelry. The yarn you're using seems so squishy yummy!! Lovely colors:)

That pattern will look great in those colors, I think. You seem to be built roughly similarly to me, and I've always thought the Ribby Cardi would be a flattering shape, just never got around to knitting it. Can't wait to seemore!

Ohhhhh oh ohh oh, love the style of the "ribby cardi" ribbed cardigan. I have wanted to make that forever. What a great pattern. I bought it ages ago. When I get over my fear of sweaters it is first on my list. I'm so glad you are making this. It's like having a big sister test the waters ahead of you. And the contrast color you picked is cool.

I will be joining you for the tears-or-relief session when this semester is over. It has been, hands down, the l.o.n.g.e.s.t semester ever. I have been mounting two new courses this semester. Eeee gads -- barely staying one step ahead of any given day's classes -- most lectures being hot off the press minutes before class begins. Living dangerously close to the wire all the time. Two more weeks! two more weeks to peace and calm... and spacious time.
